Ahead of taking part in Celebrity Big Brother this month, TOWIE star Kirk Norcross has revealed that he wouldn’t hold back in the house.

When asked about appearing on the show, he said: “I’d love to do it.”

“I’d love to. I’d use it as a bit of a diet. Take all my food away from me – I don’t care.”

“I’d be the Amy Childs of last year’s show, but I wouldn’t sleep as much. I’d just be myself. I’m the boy next door, so I’d play up to that.”

“I’d take my clothes off. It’s a shame the shower’s frosted!”

Another ‘celebrity’ looking set to enter the house is X Factor reject Frankie Cocozza and Kirk would love this to be the case.

On this topic, he said: “Yeah, he’s a laugh. He’d be my bromance. Kirk and Frankie. Team Kinky!”

As for the decision to leave TOWIE, Kirk said: “Any decision in the world, my dad’s always told me to sleep on it and if you wake up in the morning and think, “I’m going to regret that,” I won’t do it.”

“I just felt that I’d achieved as much as I could on the show. I’ve used up most of my key stuff – relationships, arguments and family.”

“I’m probably the outcast of TOWIE. I get on with every single one of them but everyone else has their own friends in the show and I don’t.”

“Joey was my friend, but not a friend from years ago. So I talked to my real mates about it.”

Elsewhere in Celebrity Big Brother news, Channel 5 host Brian Dowling has defended the format of the show since the switch from Channel 4.

He said: “I think the changes were proved right when the ratings came in and we had over 5 million viewers on the launch.”

“I wasn’t expecting that. It was the best figures Channel 5 have ever got, and they held throughout the celebrity series and normal series.”

Celebrity Big Brother 2012 launches on Thursday.
