Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon has apologised for her drunken antics on Alan Carr Chatty Man.

While being interviewed alongside fellow judges Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Hoorwood, Alesha drank from a bottle of wine and had some very interesting things to say about Strictly and rival show X Factor.

Referring to how close the contestants get on Strictly, she said: “Everyone is really frisky on the show, everybody is horny. The year I was a contestant, everyone just was really gagging for it.”

“As I was saying, you spend eight to ten hours a day rubbing up next to each other. Of course you’re going to get a bit frisky.”

Bruno then took her drink away, saying ‘No more drink for Alesha!’, but it was an extremely fun interview and the 2007 winner wasn’t done yet.

Referring to the rivalry with X Factor, she said: “I don’t understand what all the fuss is about, why can’t we just enjoy both shows?”

“I actually don’t think the public give a s***. The public will just Sky Plus one and watch it later, they don’t care.”

This interview obviously got a lot of people talking and Alesha has since Tweeted about her antics.

She said: “Apologies for being pickled on Alan Carr! I did have fun though!”

“I am officially a light weight and clearly a cheap date!”

Elsewhere on Strictly, it is time for the serious business of the semi-final this weekend.

Robbie Savage was the latest to be booted off the show and with two set to leave on Sunday night, it really is crunch time.

Looking at the betting markets for the BBC One show, Alex Jones and Holly Valance are the two favourites to leave the show.

Then, when it comes to winning, Harry Judd is leading the way, but Chelsee Healy is hot on his heals and Jason Donovan has been consistent throughout.
