After being kicked off the X Factor last night, Sami Brookes has vowed to ‘continue singing for the rest of her life’.

The 31-year-old was given the boot from the judges after being in the bottom two alongside the much talked about Kitty Brucknell.

Her mentor Louis Walsh could have taken the decision to deadlock – where the public vote is the deciding factor – but he decided to send home Sami.

She said: “I may not be able to sell one million albums as Gary said, but I’m going to sing for the rest of my life and thank you so much, thank you for the opportunity.”

“I don’t want to be in this business to be a celebrity – I want to sing and get into musicals.”

Sami became the sixth act to leave the show after four were evicted in the first week as part of a shock twist and Nu Vibe were sent home last week.

Elsewhere in X Factor news, Misha B has admitted that she was a playground bully during a difficult childhood.

In an incident packed show on Saturday night, Misha was described as a ‘bully’ by Louis, while Tulisa also made her feelings known on the 19-year-old’s backstage actions.

Reacting to the news, she said: “Saturday’s experience will make me stronger. I really looked up to Tulisa and the way she has goes on about girl power, but I feel the situation could have been dealt with a lot better.”

“Being called an X Factor bully on national TV was not fair. I know I am not a bad person. Tulisa hurt my feelings because there’s always two sides to the story.”

“I’m here for the music. Things do get heated backstage, but I’m going to take on board what they’ve said and take it in my stride.”

“At school I was bullied – and I did bully people myself, but I am a different person now.”

Despite the allegations of bullying – which Louis did apologise for last night – Misha is still one of the favourites to win the show.

She is third most likely to be victorious at 5/1, with Janet Devlin (9/4) and The Risk (2/1) the two favourites.
